Day 1,Addis Ababa

City tours of Addis Ababa the Ethnographic Museum, a great introduction to Ethiopian culture and history. Tour the Mercato, one of Africa's largest outdoor markets, and Trinity Cathedral, resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie. ​Overnight Hotel - (B, L, D) Overnight Hotel - (B, L, D)

Day 2,Addis Ababa - Bahar Dar

in the morning takes your Flight to Bahar Dar. Visit the marketplace in Bahar Dar. Take a boat tour on Lake Tana. There are 37 islands on Lake Tana and 32 of them have churches and monasteries of considerable historical and cultural interest. We visit the monastery church of Ura Kidane Mihiret, which is the best known of the monasteries and has an important collection of religious icons from the 16th to 18th centuries A.D. Day 3,Bahar Dar - Gondar

Enjoy a scenic drive to the ancient Imperial city, traveling through a fertile landscape of wide open fields; a perfect African tableau punctuated by undulating hillsides and valleys. Gondar was the first capital city of the Ethiopian Empire, which began in 1632 with the reign of Fasilidas. In Gonder, there are a dozen castles built by various emperors over the course of 236 years. The city seems more European than African. In the afternoon, we visit Fasilidas' Palace, probably the most impressive of all the castles found in the area and the oldest Visit the church of Debre Birhan Selassie, famous for its religious art and especially its iconic ceiling depicting angels. Day 4,Gondar - Simien Mountains National Park

Simien Mountains National park a UNESCO World Heritage site is a three –hour drive from Gondar, Simien Mountains national park, one of Africa’s genuine beauty spots. Often compared to the Grand Canyon, this park of craggy peaks, towering ridges and panoramic views over the surrounding countryside is almost another world. Rugged and dramatic, it also has continual surprises by dozens of Gelada baboons; the area’s distinctive shaggy breed with red over their heart. ​ Overnight Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 5,Simien Mountains – Axum

Leaving Simien Mountains you will drive to Axum and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Passing through the spectacular canyon of the Tekeze River, one of the principal rivers of Ethiopia followed by the adventurous road of Lima – Limo, Frequent stops at viewpoints along the way Overnight Hotel (B, L, D)

Day 06 ,Axum

After breakfast city tour of Axum, The town is dominated by more than 100 towering stele, massive carved granite columns, carried into position by elephants and erected as tomb markers to signal the importance and power of each of the former kings. Tour the ancient stele fields, standing for 2000 years. Visit the new and impressive Archeological Museum. Visit other tombs and archeological sites and just out of the town there are the remnants of the queen of Sheba’s palace, a tremendously atmospheric site that enables you once again to appreciate the power and the glory of this old kingdom. Day 07 ,Axum - Hawzein

Drive to the Ghiralta passing the Adwa battlefield, site of Emperor Menelik II's 1895 victory over the invading Italians. Visit the 2,500 year old ruins of Yeha, an ancient moon temple. Continue past Adigrat and visit Aba Gerima and Petros Paulos, two of the Tigray regions oldest and finest rock churches. ​ Overnight Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 08 ,Hawzein - Mekele

Visit more of Tigray's remote and ancient rock-hewn churches: Abraha Atsbeha, dating from the 5th century; the beautiful Wukro Chirkos; and Medhane Alem Kesho. Drive to Mekele.. Overnight Hotel (B, L, D)

Day 09 ,Mekele - Ahmedela

Early in the morning we drive to Ahmedela, is the usual spring board for visit to Dallol and Lake Asale. Full day excursion to Dallol & Lake Asele. Dallol, a highlight of Danakil adventure-is a surreal multi-hued field of sulphurous hot springs studded with a rather adhesive, coarse orange deposit that looks something like dyed icing sugar. You will visit Lake Asale then drive back to Ahmedela, lunch in Ahmedela. ***In the afternoon we have a nap (because the depression is very hot). Late in the afternoon we will drive to the Ethiopian salt caravan (camels) and sunset. Here it is the best opportunity to visit the Ethiopian caravan and the old continuing tradition of mining the salt and enjoy the beautiful sunset in the depression. Overnight Camping (B, L, D)

Day 10 ,Excursions to Lake Asale and Dalol

Full day, excursion to Dallo & Lake Asele, Dallul, a highlight of Denakil adventure-is a surreal multi-hued field of sulphurous hot springs studded with a rather adhesive, coarse orange deposit that looks something like dyed icing sugar. And view the dramatic and colorful geological formations caused by the hot springs rich in sulfur, potash, and salt. Overnight Camping (B, L, D

Day 11 ,Trek to Erta All

Drive to Erta Ale - After you pass several small hamlets scattered here and there in this desert land, Dodom is about 17km from Erta Ale and it takes about 3 hrs trekking Ertale,it ranks as one of the most alluring and physically changing-natural attractions anywhere in Ethiopia,is a shield volcano with a base diameter of 30km and a 1 km caldera at its summit. Set up camp and rest. Overnight Camping (B, L, D)

Day 12 ,Return to Mekele

Walk back to the base campsite and drive back to Mekele.. Overnight Hotel (B, L, D)

Day 13 ,Mekele - Lalibela

After breakfast, drive to Lalibela, passing through the dramatic landscapes of the Ethiopian Highland Sightseeing along the way Overnight Hotel (B, L, D)

Day 14 , Lalibela

Tour the Remarkable rock-hewn churches, a UNESCO World Heritage site. And you can see its surprise. Between the 11th and 12th centuries, a series of 11 fabulous churches were hewn from the rocks, created, remarkably, from single pieces of stone beneath the earth, Still today, you will be amazed how they managed such a feat, it’s one of the great wonders of the world. Day 15 ,Lalibela - Addis Ababa

Fly to Addis Ababa. Visit the National Museum, home of the 3 million year old skeleton “Lucy.” take a rest and freshen up and shopping. In the Evening you will have a farewell Dinner program at one of the best traditional Restaurant in Addis Ababa; you will also experience an amazing traditional dancing then transfer out to Bole International Airport for your departure to home.
