Day 1,Addis Ababa - Arba Minch

Addis Ababa - Arba Minch Drive to Arba Minch, We drive along a very scenic route to the mountain village of Chencha, home of the Dorze people. Renowned for their cotton weaving, called Shammas. And their distinctive house- towering beehive shaped structures made from woven thatch. You will see how they weave their huts, textiles and the cultivation and production of the false banana tree from which the Dorze make their traditional Bread (kotcho).And you could also try how to make Kocho . Day 2,Arba Minch – Jinka

In morning visit Nechisar National park by the side of Chamo Lake there you will have boat trip, Chamo Lake is known in large wetter animals like Hippos and Crocodile and reach in Aquatic birds. At the spot called “Azo Gebeya” or Crocodile Market, huge concentration of crocodile’s herds of hippo as well as many species of birds can be observed. Then you will drive to Jinka visiting Konso on the way; they live in a land of low terraced hills. They are reputed to be one of hard working groups in the country. Their elaborately terraced hillside grows some of the county’s best coffee. They have an articulate tradition and erect peculiar totems on the grave of their deceased. Visit the Konso people and their museum. Continue driving and stop for a Short visit to the Tsemay, a culture of mixed subsistence farmers who Practice flood cultivation villages. After another three hours arrive to Jinka Overnight Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 3,Mago National Park

This morning drive to a Mursi tribal village. The tribe is renowned for the now-uncommon custom of their women, upon reaching maturity, having their lower lips slit and circular clay discs inserted. Return back to Jinka for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit one of omo valley tribe called the Ari village. Overnight Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 4,Jinka – Turmi

Drive to Dimeka to visit the colorful Hamer tribe. They are well known for their remarkable hairstyles made of ochre, water, and binding resin. Resulting in copper-colored locks this is a sign of wealth for this tribe. The Hamers are also considered the masters of body decoration. Continue to the town of Turmi. Overnight Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 5,Omorate Excursion ( Hammer , Karo, Dasnich )

Turmi is our new base as we explore the region and meet the different tribes who share this valley but live a life uniquely their own. Drive to the Murulle area. Murile (also spelled Muelle and Murli) lies on the banks of the Omo River, and is a popular base for exploring this area. The two main tribes who live here are the Karo and the Hamer, both of whom practice scarification and have elaborate hairstyles. The Karo are experts in body painting, using clays and locally available vegetable pigments to trace fantastic patterns on their faces, chests, arms and legs. These designs have no special symbolic significance but instead are created for fun and aesthetic effect, as each artist tries to outdo another. Karo men also sculpt and shave their hair into extravagant shapes, with special ochre "caps" of hair usually containing several ostrich feathers. Overnight Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 06 ,Turmi – Konso

On the return drive to Konso visit the Arbore tribe who are known for herding cattle and depend on plant cultivation for their basic food. Konso recently designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. A highland people, the Konso are known for the ancient and intricate terraces that encircle their well-planned villages. Overnight Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 07 ,Konso – Hawassa

Drive to the lakeside town of Hawassa. Rest and relaxation at one of Hawassa’s fine resorts. Overnight Hotel (B, L, D)

Day 08 ,Hawassa - Addis Ababa

Visit the Hawassa fish market in the morning, Drive to Addis Ababa making stops at the Rift Valley Lakes. In the evening you will attend a folkloric dinner where you will have a chance to taste several national dishes and watch dances of the various ethnic groups of Ethiopia. The traditional coffee ceremony will also be served. Then according to your departure schedule, you will be transferred to the airport.) (B, L, D)
